Petworth
Petworth is located in the northwest of Washington, D.C., a residential neighborhood binding west Georgia Avenue, east North Capitol Street, south Rock Creek Church road, and North Kennedy Street. Cafritz Builders and also the D.J. Dunigan Company in the 1920's and 30's built many thousand of brick rowhouses in the neighborhood. The area nowadays is mostly residential and consists of a combination of row halls and residences for the single family. The Rock Creek Cemetery and the Retreat Home of the Armed Forces are two sites of historic Greenspace.
